Hamba Kahle Tata Madiba

This past week has been a sad week for all South Africans and the rest of the world as we bid farewell to a great man. Nelson Mandela left us to fly with the angels on 5th December 2013.

He left behind a legacy that will live on and I hope be carried forward by future generations, especially the "Born Free" generation who have him to thank for making South Africa the place it is for them to grow up in. A place where they can learn to fly and become great South Africans.

This post is mainly pictorial showing the unity amongst South Africans as they converge on Nelson Mandela's home in Houghton to pay their last respects. In Africa we dance when where happy, we dance when we're sad and this is so fitting of how South Africans have come together to mourn Tata Madiba by dancing and signing in joy and in sorrow to mourn the loss and celebrate what he did and stood for.
