Steam and Steel Wheels

Below are to some photographs of Steam Locomotives and a few non steam items but related to the preservation of South African Rail Heritage. 2010 is the year in which South African railways celebrates 150 years of railways. The images have been shot  on public runs to Magliesburg with Reefsteamers or when I have been on a line siding runs for photographic purposes and been lucky enough to spend time at Sandstone Estates in the Eastern Free State.
